Renegade Miata Club collects food and cash for Loaves & Fishes
The Renegade Mianta Club has organized autocross events at Moore Airfield in Ayer for several years, Autocross is a timed driving competition where drivers navigate through a temporary course marked by traffic cones. It emphasizes car handling skills over raw speed.
Members were asked to bring canned goods, pasta, diapers and other items -- including cash -- to contribute to Loaves & Fishes during their autocross events in October.
"We really appreciate the opportunity to hold our events at Moore Airfield and practice our sport," said Kathy Briguglio, the club's membership director. "We wanted to do something to show our appreciation and help local families in need."
